Introducing a vintage 1965 Fender Jazz Bass.

This is a vintage Fender Jazz Bass, originally Sunburst, judging from the paint on the neck pocket.
The paint was stripped off and the screw holes were filled and repainted.

There are many "stripped natural" pieces out there, but many of them were done as DIY work and cannot be said to have been done well.
This one appears to have been done in a well established store, and is painted with lacquer and has a good finish.
The finish is also very good.

The neck date is September 1965. Beautiful and shiny Hakaranda fingerboard.
The fingerboard has been refretted and re-nutted, and the condition is perfect for playability.
The truss rod is still tight enough, and the neck itself is in excellent condition, so it can be easily adjusted to a modern setting.
The 4th string peg has been replaced with a Vintage style peg that has been aged well.
The appearance of the guitar has been minimally changed with care.

There is a mark on the back of the neck where a strap pin seems to have been hit, but it has been filled in well and is not a problem in terms of strength.

The body has been refinished as mentioned above, and the PG has been replaced with a recent red tortoiseshell type.
As for the pot date, although the front is not visible, the rear is confirmed up to 65 years, and the tone is 34 weeks in 65 years.
The tone is 34 weeks in '65.

The condenser itself and the leads from the pickups have been replaced, as well as the wires connecting the pots and jacks.
Thick vinyl coated copper wire was used, which was probably done to improve the sound quality.
The pickups themselves are still in their original bobbins and coils and retain their vintage sound.

In addition to the above, there are some minor changes such as screws.

In general, the changes have been made for the right reasons, and the condition of the instrument has been carefully worked on to bring it up to the ideal condition. It can be said that this is an instrument that has grown up to be a player's instrument.

The sound is one of the most pleasing, and we can instantly understand the previous owner's feelings in pursuit of the ideal.
The deep and agile response characteristic of this period of round and Hakaranda.
The thicker and thicker grip for a Jazz Bass is a characteristic unique to this particular instrument.
It has a gorgeous but not waist-high sound, which is a major contributing factor to its sound.

Don't miss it!
