Welcome to JTKM STUDIO.

Here we have something truly special. What we have is a near new condition 1962 Fender Jazzmaster, complete with its unused strap, two keys to the case which are contained within an unopened envelope, cable, tag from Jo’s Music Co from its original purchase, immaculate serial number hang tag and lastly but certainly not least, it comes with its stunning original brown Tolex case. I’ve never seen a golden era case this clean. If you’re after the very best, read on!

JTKM STUDIO have been working on this one for quite a while and we are now pleased to offer it to the world. Believe it or not, it is not easy to find examples of the calibre we offer for sale and this Jazzmaster is no exception. Take a moment to check out the photos and short video, this Jazzmaster has one of the most outrageously stunning Sunburst finishes we have ever seen. As soon as you open the case this one takes your breath away, a true masterpiece. If I’m going to be very picky, there is a small finish flake next to the tremolo unit, but apart from that its dead mint!

We love 1961-1962 Fender guitars for a few good reasons and this Jazzmaster is prime for such reasons, that being it has a really massive feeling neck. This is what its all about for us, a really full feeling neck combined with a slab board fingerboard is exactly what makes these pieces so desirable.

The pickups are very strong, well balanced and just sound incredible, they are super smooth and dreamy. They read at 8.71 ohms at the neck and 8.55 at the bridge. The pots are Stackpole branded (304) dating to the 18th week and XX (solder is in the way) of 1962. Under the guard it is totally immaculate and all soldering is 100% original, the shielding and masking tape is super clean and all in place.

I was the first person to remove the neck and it dates to June 1962 with a B width nut. The nut and frets are all completely original and the Jazzmaster plays great throughout the fretboard. Given how clean the finish is I did not feel the need to remove the tremolo unit to obtain the body date. I will leave that task to the new owner if they feel the need to know.

The case is worth a mention. This is one of the most strikingly clean cases I’ve ever come across. The latches are still very gold and the leather ends are wonderfully clean. This is wonderful and super clean collector grade package.

This is one of the most wonderful pieces I’ll likely ever find and offer to the world.

All internal photos are available upon request.

There you have it, yet another masterpiece at JTKM STUDIO and they will continue to come.
