Description
Up for sale is a stunning Pre CBS 1963 Fender Jazzmaster in an exceptionally well done body and headstock refinish by none other than Joe Riggio. This instrument has all pre CBS features such as a 4OCT63B neck stamp, Brazilian rosewood fingerboard w/ clay dots, single line Kluson tuners, L serial plate, and mint pickguard. The electronics and pickups are original as are all the parts sans the knobs which have been repalced with witch hat knobs. The body was refinished and aged and the face of the headstock has been refinished with a new and correct decal. The back of the neck had overspray on it when we received the guitar which was painstakingly removed by Joe showing the original finish underneath. The original frets show some wear and are on the low side. Pro setup in house and comes complete with a 1964 black no logo hard case. Weight: 8lbs. 3oz.
