Here we go again - another amazing Pre CBS Jazzmaster for ya!
This one is from perhaps my favorite year, 1963. The neck shape that consistently shows up on Fenders from this era is to die for. The pickups always sound perfect as well.
This example is all original with the exception of a brand new refret using vintage width wire with a little added height (Stewart Macdonald 150, 80x50) and a new nut. The fret job gives you enhanced playability with a little extra meat for greater expression.
Overall, the guitar is in excellent condition, showing far less than average wear. The finish is original throughout and it remains strong in color with original finish intact on the back of the neck.
The guitar plays wonderfully. This is a really good one!
