Up for sale is a fantastic 1965 Fender Jazzmaster in its original 3 tone sunburst finish. We’re big fans of vintage Jazzmasters here at Thunder Road and let me tell you, this one has it! This transitional-era instrument features an L serial plate, Brazilian rosewood fingerboard w/ pearl dots, transitional headstock logo, Kluson double line tuners, and a great worn in feel. The neck is stamped 4APR65B, both original grey fiber pickups are dated 5-19-65, and the visible pot codes are coded 3046508 and 3046515 both dating to 1965. This instrument is entirely original with the exception of a pro refret with slightly larger fret wire and a few very minor paint touch-ups in the black area of the sunburst. Pro setup in-house and comes complete with its original hard case.
