We've had a few of these 50thAnniversary Masterbuilt Strats around here lately. What a pleasure! Each is a masterpiece with amazing, vintage looks, sound and feel.
This one is pretty special, being built and hand signed by John Cruz, whose builds have become some of the most sought after modern Fender guitars.
Someone did play this one a little, and it appears that they bonked the neck on the treble side at the third fret. The pictures make it look more substantial than it is, though it is visible and not part of the original relic process.
The instrument plays perfectly and sounds fabulous. The low-wind, vintage voiced pickups in these guitars are where its at.
There are no changes, repairs or issues with the guitar. The truss rod has room for future neck relief adjustments, if needed. We set it up with a new set of 10-46 D'Addario strings and had some fun testing it out through a couple amps. It really is a fun ride!
The guitar comes with the original "poodle" case, the original purchase receipt, strap and some case candy. Unfortunately, the certificates that come with these guitars are missing with this example, but that's good for you because it drops the price of the guitar!

Three day UPS air shipments will be automatic for buyers including these states and those to the east of them: Montana, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas. Shipments will require signature on delivery, no exceptions. If there is damage, the buyer must retain all packing materials intact and picture them immediately and send them to sales@maharsvintageguitars.com.
