Up for sale is a RAD 1966 Fender Mustang in a nicely done Daphne Blue body refin. This cool player’s grade vintage Mustang features a desirable slab rosewood fingerboard typically only seen on Fender instruments until mid 1962 and occasionally on mid 1960s Mustangs, Duo Sonics and Musicmasters for some reason. The neck finish is original and as previously noted the body has been refinished in Daphne Blue. Neck is stamped 8NOV65B, both original grey bobbin pickups are dated to 1966, F serial plate and tuners. The pots have been replaced as have the knobs and the pickup selector switches have also been replaced. Overall this one is in very good condition with the neck finish showing some wear and finish checking. Original frets showing some wear as to be expected. The guitar plays well and sounds great. Comes complete with a gig bag.
