The Mustang has lived many lives. Designed to be a "student guitar" it never really found a home until being embraced by the underground scene of the 80s and 90s. Today, it's just another classic Fender design, but the short-scale gives it a sound and feel all it's own. 

This example has undergone a few changes since leaving the factory, most noticeably the finish. It is now a 2 tone sunburst with some subtle metallic flakes thrown in for good measure. The pickups and switches have been changed but the other stuff is original: pickguard, pots, control plate, tuners, etc. The bridge/vibrato is original as well but has been painted black at some point over the years.

It's nice and light as you'd expect and is just a fun guitar to thrash away on.

Comes with newer hard case in good condition.
