1965 Fender Precision Bass "Sunburst"

The Fender Precision Bass wasn't just the first, it remains the gold standard of electric bass guitars. This "Transition Era" model from 1965 is one of the cleanest we've had. Light weight and resonant, it features a beautiful "three tone sunburst" finish with a tortoiseshell pickguard, "transition" Fender logo, "L series" serial number, rosewood fingerboard, and both chrome "ashtray" covers! The perfect "C" shape neck plays wonderfully all the way up the fingerboard, and this bass has the great sound you'd expect from a 60's P-bass! Every serious bassist needs a solid Precision and this is a tough one to beat; perfect for a player or collector!
