1975 Fender Precision Bass Sunburst with Original Hardshell Case

Summary: This 1975 Fender P-Bass is in great vintage condition, has a nice full maple neck and has just been set up and restrung by our in house luthier. The frets are in beautiful shape with no grooves or major wear. The pickguard is not original and one half of the pickup has been replaced but it is otherwise original and looks and plays great. It ships in its original hard-shell case.

Body: Alder body finished in 3 tone sunburst with aftermarket black pickguard.

Neck: Full C shaped maple neck with bone nut, 34” scale length and 1 5/8” nut width.

Pickups/Hardware: Split single coil pickup, one half is original, volume, tone, open back Fender stamped tuning keys and nickel plated bridge with steel saddles.

Cosmetics: This bass in in excellent vintage condition. The neck is relatively blemish free but there are a couple small nicks in the finish and the end of the headstock has some small scuffs. There is a fair amount of wear on the back of the instrument, some wear through the belly contour edge, some small scratches and nicks and a few chips in the finish around the edges. The front of the bass look really clean with the exception of the holes for the bridge cover, some nicks around the bridge and one chip by the tone knob. Overall, this bass looks incredible for its age.

Playability: Our in house luthier has just inspected, set up and restrung this bass with a new set of strings and it is playing beautifully with low action and a straight neck. The frets are in great shape with no grooves or divots.

Modifications: The pickguard has been changed and the D and G side of the pickup has been changed. One of the pots has also been replaced.
