1983 Fender Precision Bass, P-Bass Black
If there was any justice in the world, this would have been a 2nd-year, '62 Reissue AVRI P-Bass, but fate and the powers that be on that fateful day decided that this monster of a bass would get an "E3" serial number and it was done. That said, this baby has the goods, from a 1 3/4" nut width to coming in at a weight of only 9 lbs even.
There's a ton of sustain and snap, thanks to the Alder body combined with a Maple neck and fretboard. Of course, being black with a tuxedo theme, it's also got all the Rock-n-Roll vibe you could ever want. It's a super solid tone machine that will serve you well for years to come.
Being a black bass, there are some surface scratches and swirls- it's just the curse of the color. There are also some light belt marks on the back. The bass has been well taken care of and it's been detailed, set up and restrung with a fresh set of GHS Boomers. We're not sure if the hardshell case is original, but it fits the bass properly and protects the instrument as it should.
