This is a beautiful and rare 1950 TV Front Princeton, built the first year Fender produced the solid body electric Broadcaster and Esquire guitars. I prefer the Princeton to small box Champs sonically, as the tone knob allows for some brightness that the Champs lack. This amp functions perfectly and sounds great, as most Princeton’s do. Amp has all slot head screws, as it should for 1950, and is in pristine condition. Original 8” speaker has codes P8-T C4798. Volume pot is dated to the 49th week of 1949. This amp is all original with the exception of two wires added to the speaker connects, presumably to run to another speaker. I can remove these if the buyer requests. The condition and rarity of this early model make this one a great find.
