Very clean, almost all there Fender Black Face pPo with original single button footswitch! The tremolo did not work, and required a new LDR/Optocoupler, and it has had a 3 pin AC cable installed, ground switch/death cap bypassed. Original filter caps. I recommend having the caps replaced, and will be glad to do that, included in the price, but most folks have their own guru they want to do the work, so I leave them as untouched as possible. We did bring the amp up slowly on a variac, over a period of hours, the caps deemed to handle it with no issues- using a solid state rectifier I actually put more voltage to the caps then they will see with a rectifier tube, and they just rocked on, even at clipping. The date stamps puts it at November of 1964, all the transformers are original to the amp, but the speaker is date coded 529, so isn't the original Jensen, but is a mid 60's Jensen, and sounds great. You very seldom see a single button footswitch, so that's pretty cool.
These are wonderful amps. I have always liked a 15 for guitar, years ago Eric Clapton put out "From the Cradle", and talked about his tweed Pro and how much he liked a 15", and seems like after that a lot of folks who had discounted 15's thought it was OK to use one.
Thanks for looking!
