1970 Fender® Stratocaster® Olympic White, Excellent, Original Hard, Call For Price!
Hold onto your hats boys & girls; the Holy Grail has been found! I've been doing this for 35 years and this is by far one of the coolest & rarest Strats I have ever seen! It's a 1970 Olympic White Strat with a matching headstock and maple cap neck...with regards to rarity, this thing is off the charts!!! I've only seen maybe four Strats with matching headstocks in my day, but this is the only one with the rare & desirable maple cap neck! It's in very nice shape, about 8.5/10 condition with some belt worming and a few assorted dings & scuffs. The typical thick Polyester finish has yellowed quite a bit giving this a very cool-looking vintage vibe. It weighs 7.8 pounds, the gray-bottom pickups read 5.5k ohms (bridge), 5.3k ohms (middle), and 5.2k ohms (neck). The pot codes are 137 7014 (Manufactured by CTS, 14th week of 1970), and there's no neck date but the bottom is stamped 'SPECIAL' (what an understatement!). This is VERY expensive, just north of six-figures, but I promise you this...you can search TWO entire lifetimes and not find another Strat like this!
