Description

While not a museum piece (thanks to the body route), this guitar is a bit of a hidden gem. Unfortunately, it's a bit of a well known fact that 1970's Fender guitars saw a bit of a dip in quality control compared to their 50's and 60's counterparts. Although quality control may have dipped, the best of the best 70's Fenders certainly can evade this reputation. In our opinion, this guitar falls in the best of the best category. The neck pocket is tight, the nut is cut well, tuning stability is solid, and the vintage-ness is OOZING from this guitar. If some missing wood doesn't turn you off, you can't get a 70's player grade Strat better than this. Fret wear and minimal and the action is low with minimal buzzing.
