Description

Summary: The Fender Stratocaster is arguably the most popular electric guitar ever designed. In 1981, the American-made Stratocaster was renamed the Standard Stratocaster to avoid confusion with other models. In 1986, it was renamed the American Standard Stratocaster. This particular Stratocaster is from 1990 and it has a wonderful Wine Red finish and a one piece maple neck.

Body: Solid body Stratocaster with a maroon finish

Neck: One piece maple neck with black dots, original tuning keys, 22 frets, 1 11/16” nut width, 25.5” scale length.

Pickups/Hardware: 3 single coil pickups, 5-way switch, original Fender tuning keys, W/B/W 3 ply pickguard, chrome hardware.

Cosmetics: This Fender shows little wear to speak of. The finish is in fantastic condition with no major dings or scratches. You can see some spots on the finish where the finish is sinking into the grain of the wood. It looks like small creases along the body but it’s not very noticeable and otherwise this instrument is in fantastic condition for its age.

Playability: This Fender Stratocaster feels great – we set it up with a new set of 10’s and the action is low & comfortable. The frets are in good shape & have tons of life left.

Weight: 8 lbs, 5 oz.

Case: This instrument comes with a really cool red hardshell case and we will package it well and ship it fully insured.
