2006 Fender Stratocaster (1959 reissue) Sonic Blue J. English NAMM

This John English built Stratocaster is nearly 20 years old and virtually unplayed. The accessories are still sealed in their plastic (which is why you don't see the bridge cover or trem arm on the guitar). It is a relic so it doesn't look brand new but that's pretty much what it is. It's an unusually good player-I'm not a Strat guy but I could play this all day. The circuit includes a 5 way (there's a three way in the case) and the bottom tone control works for both the middle and bridge pickups. This was the way it was made-not a mod. There are no mods of any kind. All the paperwork is here. Sonic Blue is one of those colors that ages beautifully and is highly desirable. This guitar was built for the '06 NAMM Show. Since the death of Mr. English in 2007, his instruments have taken on an almost mythic reputation. Grab this one.
