70's Fender amps can be pretty awesome and they can also be pretty cheap. This 73 Super Reverb just had the electrolytics done plus a few resistors, new power tubes and a thorough tune up. And, after $420 worth of work, this amp sounds like a million bucks. All four alnico 10's are original and date coded to 1973 as are the trannies. The amp has, I believe been black faced and has had a black face repro panel added. The upper back panel is missing. This is the last year of the non master volume Supers. You can find a 70's super for less but I don't think you'll find one that is gig ready for the next 20 years at this price. Old amps are always a crapshoot unless they've been gone through by a good amp tech. I'll include the paperwork on the overhaul. This amp is loud and clean. It sounds as good as any 60's Super I've had.
