1953 Fender Telecaster in very good condition. This Telecaster is currently set up with modern wiring but could be easily restored back to its original configuration as the entire original wiring harness, which retains its original solder joints, has been preserved in the case. The guitar has been refretted, the fretboard has been refinished, and it has a replaced nut. The guitar has a rectangular vintage switch tip in the photos but has since had a repro round top hat style switch tip installed. This Fender was constructed with an ash body and a maple neck. The soft “V” shaped neck measures 1 5/8” at the nut, has a depth of 0.96” at the first fret, and a depth of 1.04” at the twelfth fret. The guitar has a 25.5” scale and weighs 6.89 lbs. An exceptionally light and resonant blackguard with a wonderful feeling neck. Includes the original chrome ashtray cover. Comes with the original leather gigbag as well as a non-original period correct brown thermometer case.
