Gorgeous 1955 Fender Telecaster. Body refinish in authentic Nitrocellulose Lacquer Translucent Blonde by Fiesta Finishes™. This guitar features a few non original parts:

• Bridge saddles are earlier style Brass
• Neck pickup has been replaced with a Fender '62 Telecaster Custom unit
• Neck pickup cavity was previously enlarged, but has been professionally repaired to original specs.
• Tuners have been replaced with Schaller style Gotoh units.
• Pick guard has been replaced.

The guitar features original bridge pickup, original bridge plate, original control plate, original pots (304 5541), original switch, original knobs, original jack and jack plate, original neck plate, and a new old stock Dakaware switch tip. Neck plate screws, pick guard screws, bridge mounting screws, and control plate screws are original.

The neck finish is all original except that the face of the head stock has been oversprayed. The decal is original. The neck has been refretted with vintage wire, and there is very little wear on the frets. The neck is nice and big, measuring .855" at 1st fret and .969" at 12th fret. Much of the finish is worn off the neck and it has a fabulous feel.

The serial number is 10XXX. Both body and neck are dated 10/55.The guitar weighs 7 lb. 7 oz., a perfect mid weight early Tele. Light enough to play all night but with enough meat to feel balanced and give great sustain.The guitar comes with a brand new C & G Fender Red Plush Lined Tweed Case.
