Here's a really nice '68 Telecaster! Worn just the way you want it. Has a few things to mention, the first being a brand new refret, so it plays great. Has the great maple cap neck of the era. One of the most comfortable necks Fender ever offered. Looks like it had a second string tree added and removed. The hole has been filled. Has a new pickguard. No routing or any other funny business beneath it. Finish is all original, complete with heavy checking and wear through to the wood. Electronics are all original, but the bridge pickup has been rewound. Came in warped and not working. It's still warped, but now it works. Sounds great. Bright and twangy. If you want a dark sounding Tele, this one's not for you. This one's got the classic bright mid-'60s Tele sound. Think Buck Owens. Neck pickup balances well with the bridge, so the middle position is great too. Very appealing guitar. Comes with a period correct, non-original Jazzmaster case. These maple cap Teles are getting harder to find, but we have one, and now you can too. Of course, that means we won't have one anymore if you buy it, but that's the nature of this business. It's okay, we're used to it...
