Summary: This made in Japan, black Fender Telecaster custom has aged nicely since ’85. It plays wonderfully and offers very unique sounds with its famous wide-range humbucker and single coil combination. This instrument comes with a vintage hard shell case with lots of wear but functional.

Body: Solid body Telecaster with a beautifully glossed & wonderfully aged black finish.

Neck: This instrument has a super vintage looking maple neck with 21 frets, black dot inlays & lots of character. This neck looks like it could have come right out the late 1960’s or early 1970’s. The scale length is 25.5” and the nut width is 1.65”

Pickups/Hardware: Aged Kluson Deluxe style tuning keys, chrome hardware, one wide-range humbucker pickup & one single coil, 3-way switch, 2 volume knobs, 2 tone knobs. B/W/B 3-ply pickguard, vintage 3 barrel bridge setup.

Cosmetics: This instrument has some natural wear & tear such as pick scratching & some nicks & dings but it is in wonderful vintage condition overall. The finish has been played through a bit on the neck which gives it a nice vintage look. There are a few dings on the body, most notably is one that is showing the wood underneath on the lower-bout by the output jack.

Playability: This is a great playing & cool looking Fender Telecaster. We recently set this instrument up with a new set of 10’s and the action is low & the guitar plays wonderfully up & down the neck.

Case: This magnificent guitar will ship with its original tweed Fender hard shell case. This case is pretty beat up but the latches are all still working & it looks pretty cool!
