1970 Fender Vibrolux Reverb Vintage Guitar Amplifier

The Vibrolux Reverb has become a coveted Fender amp, and justifiably so.
35 watts is just about perfect for most players, offering great tube tone that'll perform well at home and on the stage. The 2x10" speaker combo moves enough air without breaking your back. The whole package just hits the spot!
This example retains the original transformers. It has been serviced. The coupling caps were changed prior to arrival here. I performed a filter cap replacement. The rest of the amp checked out perfectly with no mods, repairs or issues. We tested all the tubes as well, and added a new set of JJ 6L6s.
The amp runs quiet and strong. Don't let the internet fool you - these Oxford speakers actually sound great. I've been seeing people turn back to them after going down the replacement speaker rabbit hole.
The amp came to us with out a lower backplate. I was able to find a period-correct Fender Twin backplate. I peeled back the tolex, cut it down to size, and fit it to the amp. The replacement backplate came with the original screws, so all of that looks great now.
