We have here an example of Friedman's 20-watt monster "Pink Taco" guitar head. After playing this little sweatbox long enough to get my next door neighbor's three boys (aptly named The Bandit, The Snowman, and Sheriff Justice) to peek their heads around the corner, I had to ask myself, "Where in the Texas hell did they come up with the name for this amp?" One can only shake his head at oddities such as this one.

Were I working in the Amp Naming department at Friedman, I would have taken a slightly different approach when giving this PT-20 its name. If it was Judas Priest day at the shop, I could have went all Rob Halford on you and called it "The Grinder." Or, if it was Queen Wednesday, I might have named it "The Fat Bottomed Girl" in honor of the late, great Mr. Mercury. And, because this little mighty mite can get quite snarly, I could have gone with Karl Sander's opus "Papyrus Containing the Spell to Preserve Its Possessor Against the Attacks From He Who Is in the Water." On that one, we can just use "The 'Lil Papy" for short.

So folks, that's a long-winded way of saying that, while this 20-watt tone devastator may have a funny name, it most certainly has a serious tone. Hook it up to a 1 x 12" cabinet, throw an SM-57 in front and you can play Madison Square Gardens with authority and nobody will know those eight Marshall cabs are empty...

The amp is in excellent condition and has been checked for proper function and operation. It is the desired hand-wired Version 1 and will be securely packed to arrive safely. Please take a look at the photos, let us know if you have any questions and as always, we thank you for stopping by!
