2019 Froggy Bottom H-12 Deluxe German Spruce, Madagascar RW
Offered is this fabulous H-12 Deluxe from Froggy Bottom Guitars. This is a Grand Concert-sized, short scale (25"), 12-fret instrument. The top is upgraded German Spruce and the back and sides are made of lovely AAAA grade Madagascar Rosewood Rosewood. The nut width is 1.75" and the string spacing is 2-5/16". While designed to be the perfect fingerstyle instrument, this guitar has the punch needed for flat picking as well.
Playing this instrument reminds me yet again why I love Froggy Bottom acoustics. There is magic in these guitars from Vermont! The short scale and 12-fret geometry puts the Ebony pyramid bridge right where it should be for playing ease, the best tonal palette and output, particularly from a guitar of this size. It is setup with 12th fret string heights of 6/64" on the bass side and 4/64" on the treble side. The tone is articulate and rich, with a sound many say you can only get from a Froggy. Please check out the brief sound sample provided; that unique Froggy "chime" is clearly evident! I've also attached a video of a very similar H-12 with Madagascar Rosewood in action.
This beauty was built in 2019 is in near mint condition but for one unfortunate and shallow ding from a capo drop on the upper bout (see photo). You cannot see this unless you really look for it but please take note. Otherwise, this lightly played beauty could pass for new, frets included. It comes with it's original AVS/TKL case in near mint condition.
The original owner of this guitar paid $14K for it with the upgraded German Spruce and the Madagascar Rosewood! You can get this wonderful and lightly played instrument for half that amount!

Shipping to Continental US addresses is via FedEx Ground, with flat rate shipping of $60 to Eastern time zones, $70 Central and $80 Mountain/Pacific. Shipping to Alaska and Hawaii is $100. Refunds of the original purchase price less shipping and a 10% restocking fee may be requested within 48 hours of delivery. Exchanges within one (1) week of the original date of purchase may be made for an item of equal or greater value at the discretion of Capital Guitars. Where permitted herein, items must be promptly returned at the buyer's expense, in the same condition as received with all accessories and paperwork included.
