2005 Gibosn Larry Carlton ES-335 Sunburst
Based on “Mr. 335” Larry Carlton’s 1968 ES-335. Has Mr. 335 on the truss rod cover of course. Larry’s studio career includes playing on records by Joni Mitchell, Steely Dan, Barbara Streisand, Henry Mancini, the Four Tops, Joan Baez and many many more. This Gibson Custom Shop replicates Larry’s original guitar with a custom neck profile, Schaller M6 tuners, laminate maple/poplar/maple construction, strap locks and color match. All detailed to Mr Carlton’s specs including the added stop tailpiece. His original ’68 had a trapeze tailpiece. The pickups at ’57 Classic Humbuckers which sound great on these semi-hollow guitars. A great ES-335 for those wanting a special 335. Comes with the original case, coa, warranty papers in the original hard case which shows some wear.
