It's 2020 and at this point I probably don't have to describe the amazing work being done by Historic Makeovers. They somehow manage to take a Gibson Historic guitar AND MAKE IT EVEN BETTER!

They catalog all their builds/makeovers on their own site but Reverb will not allow us to post a direct link. This one is "Boyd" from 2018 if you want to go hunting for it yourself. We can also send you the link if you message us.

It was named Boyd but it can also be called None More Black. This former burst has received some fresh and aged black nitro lacquer, a black 5-ply pickguard, black humbucker rings, and yes, an EBONY fingerboard! It's a Standard but definitely has that Custom crispness and vibe.  8 lbs 14 oz.

It's loaded with with the best of the best when it comes to pickups as well. Good luck finding a better PAF than the pickups being built by Throbak. You will be very pleased.
