1996 Gibson '67 Flying V "Black"

The second run of the iconic Flying V design introduced in in 1967 was short lived, but ensured the guitars place in rock n' roll history. Players as diverse as Michael Schenker, Tom Petty, and Lenny Kravitz have made this their instrument of choice, and they do have a special sonic space unlike any other guitar. This reissue of the '67 V from 1996 features a lightweight mahogany body with a comfortable, rounded '60s neck profile and original Gibson 500T and 496R Humbucking pickups. Unlike the originals, this guitar features a stop tailpiece and ABR-1 adjustable bridge for greater intonation. The guitar includes the original brown hardshell Gibson case.
