1935 Gibson A-50 Sunburst
This is a nice clean example of a vintage Gibson A-50 mandolin and it plays and sounds great. It has the original sunburst finish with a nicely figured maple back and sides and a mahogany neck with a spruce top. It features a rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays and the pearl peg head Gibson logo, it also has the original tailpiece cover. The pick guard is missing and a newer truss rod cover has been installed , the original truss rod cover is in the case. There's an added arm rest and there's a bit of wear on the back of the neck too. The tuning gears have been upgraded and the instrument has had a partial re-fret as well. It comes with a newer TKL hard shell case. We're selling this one 'as described' so please feel free to contact us here at the shop for a detailed hands on description.
