1943 Gibson Banner J45 Sunburst

I will try my best to give a good description of this guitar but I would encourage any question asking or calling on this one as I am still investigating to some degree. The top of this guitar has finish issues. I think the color is correct so that may be original. The top is oversprayed for sure at the least and the dark part has somewhat of a flat feel to the paint.The bridge has the right shape and look but I think it is replaced and a little bigger than stock. The neck on this is not multiple piece but one piece and that is sort of unusual for a banner model. It should be mahogany but the wood looks a bit like walnut to me. Stay tuned. There is not much finish on the neck but what is there seems original. The tuners and pick guard are original. There is wear and I will check for cracks.
