2003 Gibson Custom '56 Les Paul Reissue Verified Brazilian Gold Top, Near Mint, Original Hard
Offered here is a very special instrument, a collector-grade 2003 Gibson '56 Les Paul Gold Top Reissue. This instrument's serial number (6 3131) identifies it as part of the very limited run of 2003 Les Paul Reissues that have been verified to have received Brazilian Rosewood fretboards.
This guitar weighs in at 8.8 pounds and has a neck shape which measures .94" deep at the first fret and 1.02" deep at the twelfth fret. It plays like a new instrument and the tone is to die for. Please check out the brief sound sample provided. These P-90's just sing!
This instrument came from a distinguished collector of fine vintage guitars and as such, is in exemplary and uncirculated condition. The only flaws of any significance include some extremely light worming on the back of the guitar which can only be detected up close and under intense lighting (see photos). These minor issues aside, this guitar looks like a new instrument and the frets are flawless. It comes in it's similarly well kept original black Gibson Custom case along with virtually all of the paperwork and accessories which came with this instrument when new.
So, not only is this a great LP Reissue, but a fabulous collector piece as well. I cannot imagine ever coming across a finer example of this particular Gibson model. Make it yours!

Shipping to Continental US addresses is via FedEx Ground, with flat rate shipping of $60 to Eastern time zones, $70 Central and $80 Mountain/Pacific. Shipping to Alaska and Hawaii is $100. Refunds of the original purchase price less shipping and a 10% restocking fee may be requested within 48 hours of delivery. Exchanges within one (1) week of the original date of purchase may be made for an item of equal or greater value at the discretion of Capital Guitars. Where permitted herein, items must be promptly returned at the buyer's expense, in the same condition as received with all accessories and paperwork included. Sale items, purchases that are made via layaway, those involving trades and/or international shipping are considered final except upon an error by and at the discretion of Capital Guitars.
