Offered is this killer 2014 LPR9 in Ice Tea Burst Gloss finish. As a 2014 model, this Les Paul includes all the improvements that Gibson made recently: the use of hot hide glue to mount the long tenon neck joint; more accurate aniline dyes and binding material; lighter but non-weight-relieved bodies; the new 'Custom Bucker' pickups; no surround on the truss rod, and on and on. This sweetie weighs a svelt 8.2 pounds (8 pounds, 3 ounces) and is nicely balanced. It rings like a bell and has none of that midrange muddiness that LP's sometimes suffer from. This guitar can sparkle if you want it to and the new pickups are superb. The neck carve on this one measures a depth of .910" at the 1st fret and .995" at the 12th and it feels perfect without too much in the shoulders. Nice figuring of the top and a lovely dark Rosewood board on this one as well. This gloss (not aged) finished instrument looks like new and shows no flaws of any significance, frets included. You could likely mistake this guitar for new. Included are the brown Lifton-style case, the certificate and tags. Shipping to Continental US addresses is via FedEx Ground, with flat rate shipping of $60 to Eastern time zones, $70 Central and $80 Mountain/Pacific. Shipping to Alaska and Hawaii is $100. Refunds of the original purchase price less shipping and a 10% restocking fee may be requested within 48 hours of delivery. Exchanges within one (1) week of the original date of purchase may be made for an item of equal or greater value at the discretion of Capital Guitars. Where permitted herein, items must be promptly returned at the buyer's expense, in the same condition as received with all accessories and paperwork included. Sale items, purchases that are made via layaway, those involving trades and/or international shipping are considered final except upon an error by and at the discretion of Capital Guitars.
