This guitar checks a lot of the boxes I look for in a Les Paul. Obviously, it has a great flame top and is finished in a great color, Sunrise Teaburst. It has a terrific feeling neck with moderate shoulders and depth measurements of .90" at the first fret and 1.00" at the twelfth fret. It is light in weight, just 8.4 pounds (8 lbs. 6 ounces) and balanced for comfortable all-night play. Perhaps most importantly, this guitar plays and sounds even better than it looks! This instrument is in fabulous condition with little evidence of play beyond the factory VOS treatment (very light aging) and a bit of scuffing on the rear plastic control cavity cover. The nice big frets are in great condition too with no observable wear (see photo). The original owner had an upgraded Faber bridge and tailpiece installed, along with historically accurate pickguard, control knobs and other plastic parts. All the original Gibson parts are included as well. It comes in it's original Gibson Custom Shop case, also in excellent condition, along with the original accessories and tags.

Shipping to Continental US addresses is via FedEx Ground, with flat rate shipping of $60 to Eastern time zones, $70 Central and $80 Mountain/Pacific. Shipping to Alaska and Hawaii is $100. Refunds of the original purchase price less shipping and a 10% restocking fee may be requested within 48 hours of delivery. Exchanges within one (1) week of the original date of purchase may be made for an item of equal or greater value at the discretion of Capital Guitars.
