Gibson Custom Shop 2018 Historic Collection 1959 Les Paul VOS Hand Selected
The "1959 Les Paul VOS" model is finished in the Royalty Burst finish introduced in 2018.
The 2018 spec features maple and mahogany hide glued into the body, True Historic parts, new body carving, a slightly thinner neck shape than ever before, re-measured from an original 1959 Les Paul, a new colored body back with a slightly faded aniline dye coloring, and a truss rod cover with an increased cream color.
The pickups are equipped with Custombuckers.
It is VOS finished but in overall shiny condition.
It is in good condition with no noticeable damage, although there is some reddish fading on the body back and back of the neck, and a few pockmarks on the body sides and edges.
The frets have not worn down much and the neck and truss rod are in good condition.
