2015 Collector’s Choice #24 Charles Daughtry 1959 Les Paul “Nicky”
This Collector's Choice #24 Charles Daughtry 1959 Les Paul Nicky Aged" is a reissue of a '59 Les Paul commonly known as "Nicky" owned by Charles Daughtry, a well-known guitar collector.
This is the first model in the Collector's Choice lineup to adopt True Historic specs, with a three-dimensional wide-grained flame maple top and a dark shade rosewood fingerboard.
The original "Nicky" had a very powerful sound, and to reproduce it, Burstbucker #3 pickups were selected for both the neck and the bridge.
There is a faint stand mark on the back of the neck (0~1F), but there is little sign of use, and the frets are in very good condition with no fret loss.
