2016 Collector’s Choice #37 1959 Les Paul Reissue Aged “Carmelita”
This model is a reproduction of "9 1953" from the Collector's Choice series, which reproduces existing bursts.
This Les Paul has gone through multiple owners and has been renamed "The Claw", "Hawaii Burst", and "Carmelita". This Les Paul is one listed on BOTB Page 104.
This one meticulously reproduced the original with minimal damage, with striking wide-figured maple in reddish cherry sunburst.
It is built based on True Historic specs and features the original Burstbucker 3 pickups on both neck & bridge.
The reddish shade on the body back/side/back of the neck has faded.
Fret wear is minimal and there are no problems with the neck or truss rod.
