Gibson's latest Custom Shop Joe Walsh 1960 Les Paul
includes new appointments to add even more authenticity and vintage vibe
to this iconic reissue guitar. The neck is attached using hide glue,
which many argue sounds better than synthetic glue. Gibson Custom Shop
also re-engineered the truss rod, truss rod washer, and anchor to their
original form. They also eliminated the tubing that surrounded the truss
rod. From the vintage-accurate Aniline dye finish on the mahogany back
and sides to the spot-on binding color makes the Gibson Custom Shop Joe
Walsh 1960 Les Paul is one of the most accurate artist reproductions
ever.

The road-worn look of this Gibson Custom Joe Walsh 1960 Les Paul was applied with love by Tom Murphy. As a world-renowned leader in guitar aging, Tom Murphy perfected his aging process as a way to revive old instruments without making them look unnatural. Tom has created a spot-on re-creation of Joe's original Les Paul down to the dings, nicks, and worn-off finish on the back.

Beginning with vintage CTS potentiometers and bumble bee capacitors, every part of its internal signal path is designed to give you absolutely dead-on '60 Les Paul tone. Of course, it's next to impossible to find genuine '50s PAFs (even for Gibson). Instead, the Custom Shop Joe Walsh 1960 Les Paul sports a pair of Gibson's CustomBucker humbuckers. In the event a return is requested on an item prior to shipment or delivery a 10% restocking fee will be deducted at our sole discretion.
