Gibson Custom Shop 2022 Murphy Lab 1959 ES-355 Ultra Light Aged
This "1959 ES-355 Ultra Light Aged" model has a look reminiscent of Keith Richards' gear.
It is a reproduction of a 1959 ES-355 in Ebony Black, with Bigsby B7, mono and pickguardless specs, with the same multi-binding as the Les Paul Custom, split diamond inlays and gold hardware , and it is one of the highest range ES series models.
It has been aged by Murphy Lab, a new team specialising in ageing led by Tom Murphy, to reproduce weather checks and minor damage.
The neck is an Authentic '59 Medium C shape with moderate thickness and is equipped with two un-potted Custombucker pickups.
The specs include a tubeless truss rod, hide-glue, True Historic parts, refined vintage taper pots and a Bumblebee capacitors.
There is one tiny paint chip on the body back and a dent on the back of the neck (1st fret), but the guitar is in good condition with no other noticeable marks.
There is almost no fret wear, and the neck and truss rod work fine.
A pickguard is also included.
