This "1959 Les Paul Custom Ultra Heavy Aged" has been aged by Murphy Lab, a team specializing in aging led by Tom Murphy, a leading expert in this field.
The "Ultra Heavy Aged" finish is the most intense of the four levels of aging available in the Murphy Lab collection, and it has a dignified appearance with peeling paint, dents, damaged parts, and detailed weather checks that look like it has been abused for many years. It has a dignified appearance.
The all hide gluing and parts have been carried over from the True Historic series, and vintage taper pots and bumblebee type oil capacitors have been used.
The neck is an Authentic 59 Medium "C" shape, a shape adopted since 2018 and very slightly thinner than previous 59 models.
The pickups are equipped with un-potted Custombucker.
It has been re-fretted and re-nutted, with a few dented areas around the plain string side frets, and about 80% remaining overall.
The neck and truss rod are in good condition.
