This "1959 Les Paul Custom Ultra Heavy Aged" has been aged by Murphy Lab, a new team of aging specialists led by Tom Murphy, a leading expert in the field of aging.
The "Ultra Heavy Aged" finish is the most intense of the four levels of aging available in the Murphy Lab collection, and it has a dignified appearance with peeling paint, dents, damaged parts, and detailed weather checks that looks as if it has been abused for many years. It has a dignified appearance.
The all-nickel glue and parts have been carried over from the True Historic era, and have the vintage taper pots and bumblebee type oil capacitors.
The neck is an Authentic 59 Medium "C" shape, a shape used since 2018 and very slightly thinner than earlier '59 models.
The pickups are equipped with un-potted Custombucker.
The guitar is in excellent condition with very little wear, no fret wear and no problems with the neck or truss rod.
