1960 Gibson EB-6 Thinline Hollowbody Bass
The Gibson EB-6 Thinline 6-string bass is one of the rarest Gibson basses with only 67 ever produced. This semi-hollow 1960 example is 100% original and in incredibly well-preserved condition with finish checking, a few dings, and minor playwear. Plays great featuring a slimmer vintage "C" profile with nice low action and sounds fantastic producing a rich and well-rounded sound from the single PAF pickup for excellent clarity and note separation with tons of vintage Gibson vibe! This is a killer collector-grade EB-6. Currently comes fitted with replaced Klusons to preserve the original tuners which are included in the original hardshell case.

"This is the Northern White Rhino of electric bass guitars. With only 67 EB-6s ever built, it was never a commonplace instrument, and decades of unregulated poaching have rendered unmolested samples such as this virtually unheard of. While reprehensible, it's not difficult to see why. The knobs and double-line Klusons are identical to those of a '60 Burst.
The pots and guard are perfect for a no-expenses-spared 335 restoration. An untouched PAF with 12” of lead wire? The poor things never had a chance. Some of these basses were even re-necked and converted to ES-style guitars. I can say with some confidence that this is the only original example you'll ever see outside of a history book."

Before returning any item, customers must call for a return authorization. Returned items must be in the same condition as when they left the store. Unauthorized returns will be refused & returned at customer expense. Returned items are subject to a 20% restocking fee.
