A 1950's Gibson is a thing to behold. They're made with a love and craftsmanship that builders are still striving to equal. The solidbodies of the era can fetch quite a high price but thankfully the archtop hollowbodies are within reach for most players.

This example has plenty of wear from 70 years of faithful service but it still is quite playable. The neck angle is good so there is room to adjust the bridge to taste. The frets are original and are getting close to the end of the line but we've got it set-up medium/low and it does not fret out of buzz excessively. The modern Schaller tuners made tuning a snap. The electronics are original so this thing sounds like a little slice of heaven.
