1953 Gibson ES-150 Sunburst, Excellent, Hard, $2,195.00

It’s big and it’s bold, this 1953 Gibson ES-150, a full 17” across. Bigger brother of the ever-present ES-125 and a whole heck of a lot rarer with bound fingerboard, fancy inlay, and that hot hot original Gibson P-90 pickup. Original tuners, appear to have been replaced and then put back; real 1950s Gibson pickguard that sure looks like it left the Gibson factory on this guitar but is of a later-50s type, beats me, never know with these people; slightly different-looking tailpiece, better off for it as most of the originals from those days broke; minor repair around the jack area, can barely see it, properly done by us. All nicely set up by us too with best .011 set w/wound G. Take me home for the bargain price of only $2195 w/hsc
