Have an original, earlier, Gibson ES-175 or L-7 from the 1950s-60s with a busted tailpiece? Join the club; so many of those tailpieces broke at the knuckle joints of the hinge. Here’s one that was quite solidly repaired, albeit just a wee bit cosmetically wanting. Solid as all getout, a bit of exuberance with the buffing wheel and therefore a coupla spots of plating down there a little bare, adds character. Original cool nickel plating, beats a shiny new import any day of the week, in every way. $125
