1968 Gibson ES-330 Sunburst, Excellent, Original Hard, $3,750.00

Summary: This Es-330 is amongst the first batch of guitars made with the desirable full scale ES-335 style neck, which joins the body at the 19th fret. The hollow body produces a fatter, warmer tone than semi-solid models, and weighs considerably less as well.

Body: Hollow thin-line maple body. Single-ply bound top and back. Tobacco sunburst nitrocellulose finish. 16" across lower bout.

Neck: Bound mahogany set neck with “C” profile. Rosewood fretboard with block inlays. Medium jumbo frets. 24.9" scale. 1 9/16” nut.

Pickups/Hardware: Two Gibson chrome-covered P-90 pickups. ABR adjustable bridge with nylon saddles and chrome trapeze tail piece. Chrome Kluson Deluxe tuners (replacements). Black witch hat knobs. Black pickguard.

Cosmetics: The finish is crazed on both body and neck, but otherwise shows little wear: some dings on the top and neck, and an area of buckle rash on the back All hardware is shiny without tarnish or pitting.

Playability: The P-90s give this guitar a driving, in-your-face tone. The slim “C” neck with its longer scale is easy-playing and the frets are in great condition with very little wear.

Mods/Repairs: Replacement Kluson Deluxe tuners.
