I debated whether to call this guitar "mint" or "near mint". It's rare for me to use either term but this one is special. There is not a mark on it. There is no checking. The owner engraved some sort of ID code on the back of the headstock which is a shame, I suppose but it's there and we live with stuff like that. Is that enough to call it near mint? Your call but this is a virtually brand new guitar with no issues. And it's a blonde 330. They don't come up often and I had to dig deep to get this one. It is a fairly early 60 with a transitional neck profile (medium/slim) and 59 features. Find another Lifton brown case that still has all the leather on the handle (only the second or third one I've ever had like that). The frets are original and show no wear. There is the usual added upper strap button. Cool (and unusual) stinger on the headstock. On top of all that it plays beautifully with all that raw P90 power Gibson guys like me love. It's a lot of money for a 330-top dollar for sure but I can pretty much guarantee you will never find a cleaner blond 330 unless it's a reissue. If you do, I'll buy this one back.
