Gibson offered the blonde finish on the ES-330 only in 1959 and 1960 and they have gotten very pricey if you can even find one. They don't approach the value of a 335 blonde, so, in my opinion, they are an excellent value even as they approach the $20,000 mark for a 59 (especially when you consider that a blonde 59 ES-335 is $100,000 or more. This 1964 ES-330 is a factory blonde and was certainly a special order. I have seen only two of these and I doubt there are very many (if any) more. 330's are full hollow and very different from a 335. P90's on a hollow body makes for a very different animal that humbuckers in a semi hollow. I particularly like 330's as they are the ultimate "couch guitar". They weigh nothing (6 pounds is pretty average) and you can hear them just fione when playing unplugged. You aren't likely to get the opportunity to buy a blonde 330 block neck again. You are more likely to find a 59 or a 60 than one of these. So, if this floats your boat, give me a call or shoot me an email and we can discuss the price and put it in your hands. It is all original and is a great player. Original hard case.
