1961 Gibson ES-335 Red, Very Good, Hard, $15,000.00

Nice clean 61 dot neck with all original finish and parts. This guitar could use a fret job-the frets are pretty flat although it plays decently. It will play better with new frets. Super lightweight at 7 lbs 3 ounces. Original PAFs. This guitar has the cut center block that is more common in 64 and later guitars. I've seen them as early as 62 with some frequency but this is only the second 61 I've ever seen with it. It appears to be factory. It was done to facilitate the installation of the wiring harness. Get into an original dot neck for relatively cheap. I will also sell this as a husk for (neck and body-no parts). Case is in fair condition and is a brown Lifton.
