HOLDYou know that a late 59 and an early 60 are the same guitar, right? The big 59 neck profile was gone by October or so (it didn't change all at once) and the super slim 1960 profile didn't show up until the Spring of 60. The bonnet knobs didn't disappear on January 1, 1960, they stuck around for a few month before the reflectors took over. And yet, a 60 will cost you a few thousand less. Like this one. It's a beauty too. Condition is a 9+/10 with only a few random dings, some wear to the gold parts and no checking which is pretty unusual. This guitar has no issues. Sealed PAFs and all original parts except for the tuner tips which is kind of expected on 59's and early 60's. It has been re-fretted. Near perfect brown with pink Gibson badged case. This thing looks like it never left the house-it still shines like brand new. Original matching serial number hang tag and a few other case candy items-key, stereo cord, strings, pick case and vintage picks. Still has it's stereo/Varitone circuit and it functions perfectly.
