Incoming. Wait, does that 355 have a stop tail? Didn't they all come with a Bigsby or other trem? Yeah, they did. You had to special order a stop tail 355 which is why you almost never see them. I know of around 10 from 59-63. And if the stop tail isn't enough to get your attention, then maybe the big fat 59 neck will. The 355 slimmed down in the neck by around mid year, so finding one with "the" neck is pretty tough as well. The other oddity here is that the body is routed like a first rack 345 which means there is only a shallow rout for the Varitone choke (which is wax potted at the factory-also a rarity). This is the first 355 I've ever seen with this configuration. This guitar has a repaired and stable "smile" crack at the headstock-stable since the early 70's and some overspray on the neck only. Sealed PAFs and all original. There is an extra screw in the pick guard. Take off a buck. More photos once the guitar arrives.
