1960 Gibson ES-355 Mono Red, Excellent, Original Hard, $22,000.00

HOLDStunning one-off custom ES-355 Mono made right at the close of 1960. A mono 355 is cool on its own but nearly all of them had Bigsbys or other trems. I know of 6 stop tail 355's but this is the only factory trapeze I've ever seen. Never had a Bigsby. Wait. There's more. Super 400 inlays and neck binding and multi bound f-holes. I've never seen a three ply f-hole binding on any Gibson before. Zebra PAF in the bridge and double black in the neck. Yes, the trapeze says Byrdland on it which is pretty weird but all the holes line up and the wear pattern makes it appear factory. Label says "custom" as does the original Gibson shipping ledger so no doubt that its factory. Super clean brown Lifton case and some case candy (case key, PAF instructions and a hang tag).
